RKUSI Centennial Gala Dinner
Registration Closes Friday, October 10th at 4:oo pm.
As part of our Centennial, RKUSI will host a Gala Dinner in the historic Fort Frontenac on Friday evening, October 17th, 2025. Timings are 1830 for the pre-dinner reception and 1930 hours for dinner. At this time, registration is open to RKUSI, RCMI, CIDP, and Kingston Branch of the RMC Alumni Association members and guests. In addition, all serving members of the military are most welcome to attend.
Dress: Formal. Black tie (with miniatures) or Mess dress or Formal evening wear. Dark business suit is also acceptable.
Guest Speaker. Honourable Peter MacKay, Honourary Member of CDAI and former Minister of National Defence.
Pre-Dinner Reception featuring a Prosecco Bar.
Three Course Menu with Three Main Dinner Options.
Course 1 – Strawberry Pecan Salad. Mixed artisanal greens with sliced strawberry, candied pecans, sliced red onion, goat cheese, and finished with honey thyme vinaigrette.
Course 2 – Important. Please note that there are three Dinner Ticket Options for this dinner. You must select from a choice of the following three main options:
A. Braised Beef Short Rib. Braised beef short rib accompanied with smashed new potatoes and seasoned vegetables finished with red wine demi-glace.
B. Chicken Supreme. Roasted red pepper and asiago stuffed chicken supreme accompanied with smashed new potatoes and seasoned vegetables finished with roast chicken demi-glace.
C. Vegetarian/Gluten Free. TBD individually with Chef.
Course 3 – Cheesecake. Chef’s Fall inspired Cheesecake with a pumpkin mousse.
Coffee and Tea Station
The dinner includes two glasses of wine and port.
