Youth and Educational Support
Cadet Corps

RKUSI has traditionally supported the seven Cadet Corps in the Kingston area from Trenton to Brockville. RKUSI presents a cash award to the most deserving cadet in each corps annually.
The RKUSI Cadet Corps coordinator is Gary Coulter who can be reached at gcoulter581@bell.net . It may also be possible to award a grant to a Cadet Corps who makes a request for support financial or otherwise.
Naval and Officer Cadets from the 2023 Indigenous Leadership Opportunity Year (ILOY) attend their Completion Ceremony at the Royal Military College of Canada in Kingston, Ontario, marking the beginning of their career with the Canadian Armed Forces, on June 21, 2023.
The ILOY program is a year-long program through which members of the Indigenous community apply to become Naval Officers and Officers in the CAF.
