Membership

Become a Member

Membership is open to former or actively serving members of the Canadian Armed Forces, RCMP, CSIS, veterans of allied forces, and interested civilians who support the objectives of the Institute.  The RKUSI membership year commences September 1st annually.

Those members who either joined or renewed prior to June 1st 2025 are requested to renew their memberships.

Those members who either joined or renewed after June 1st 2025 are considered members until the end of August 2026.

We provide ties, crest badge, and pin for all new members.

Membership Application or Renewal

Ordinary Members can be actively serving, Veterans, or civilians, up to age 75.

 

Age-Exempt Application or Renewal

Apply or Renew your Age-Exempt Membership.

Senior Members, who turned 75 prior to 1 September, are exempt from annual dues.

Make a Donation
Donations support our guest speaker programme and communications, as well as our scholarship and local cadet corps. As RKUSI is not a charitable organization, it is not possible to issue tax receipts.

Payment Information

RKUSI’s membership year runs from 1 September – 31 August. Dues are currently set at $50.00/year, and are not prorated.

Credit or debit card online payments

A PayPal account is NOT required to use PayPal. PayPal simply allows you to make payments using a variety of methods including:

  • a PayPal Cash balance,
  • a bank account,
  • debit card,
  • or credit cards, including the major ones like Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express.

We prefer you do not choose to make an ‘off-line payment’ as that delays the process for everyone.  Go ahead and use the PayPal button on the right side of the form and process the payment.  RKUSI does not collect or store any financial information as part of the transaction. The entire payment process is securely managed by PayPal.  You may use it in complete confidence.

  3. Add Your Name + “2026 RKUSI Membership” to the Message Line.
  4. RKUSI’s bank account accepts auto deposits, but if your bank insists a security question and password is required, please ensure the password is “RKUSI”

Make your cheque payable to “Royal Kingston United Services Institute” (in full, no abbreviation).

Hand-deliver your payment to any member of the RKUSI Executive at the next scheduled meeting.

Hand-deliver your payment to any member of the RKUSI Executive at the next scheduled meeting. Please provide the exact amount, as we may not have change available.
